Composition
Each ml contains
Ceftiofur (as hydrochloride)................................50mg
Expients............................................................up to 1ml
Indications
Cattle: It is indicated for treatment of the following bacterial diseases: Bovine respiratory disease (BRD, shipping fever, pneumoniae) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni (Haemophilus somnus); Acute bovine interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot, pododermatitis) associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus; acute metritis (0 to 10 days post-partum) associated with bacterial organisms such as E.coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Fusobacterium necrophorum.
Pigs: It is indicated for treatment of swine bacterial respiratory disease (swine bacterial pneumoniae) associated with Actinobacillus (Haemophilus) pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis and Streptococcus suis.
Usage and Dosage
Cattle: by subcutaneous injection
Respiratory disease: 1mg ceftiofur /kg bw/days for 3-5 day, i.e. 1ml/50kg bw at each injection;
Acute interdigital necrobacillosis: 1mg/kg bw /days for 3 days, i.e. 1 ml/50kg bw at each injection;
Acute post-partum metritis within 10 days after calving: 1mg/kg bw /day for 5 consecutive days, i.e. 1ml/50kg bw at each injection.
Pigs: 3mg ceftiofur /kg bw / day for 3days via intramuscular injection, i.e.1ml/16kg bw at each injection
Contra-Idications
Not be used in animals found to be hypersensitive to the product.
Use of dosages in excess of those indicated or by unapproved routes of administration may result in illegal residues in edible tissues and/or milk.
Withdrawal Times
For meat
Cattle: 3 days.
Pigs: 4 days.
For milk: 0 days.
Storage Precautions
Protect from light and store in a cool dry place and below 30℃
Keep out of reach of children
